Every Disney
park has its symbol, whether it be Cinderella
Castle for the Magic Kingdom, Spaceship Earth
for Epcot or the Sorcerer Mickey Hat for
the Disney-MGM Studios. So when the Animal
Kingdom was being designed, Imagineers naturally
had to come up with something that would
not only serve as the focal point of the
park, but also symbolize the philosophy behind
the Animal Kingdom.
The Tree of Life was the stunning result,
and even today first-time guests are astonished
when they see the majestic tree for the first
time.
