| Lines for the Great
Movie Ride are usually moderately long (20-30
minutes on typical days). The line moves in spurts
as large groups of people are admitted into the
loading area. If you encounter a large line you
may want to try back later in the day. |
| If you are touring
with smaller children do your best to get them
seated at either end of the seating rows so they
can see well. |
| Depending on which
group you’re in, you’ll see a live
action segment featuring either cowboys or gangsters.
If you have a preference for one or the other,
tell a Cast Member, they’re usually happy
to make sure you get in the proper group. |
| Some parts of the
tour (particularly the “Alien” section)
can be frightening for kids. |
| The queue area before
the theater section is filled with movie memorabilia,
including the ruby slippers Dorothy wore in the
Wizard of Oz and the holographic game table from
the original Star Wars movie. |
| Be sure to explore
the area outside the building. You’ll find
celebrity signatures in the pavement (just like
the real Mann’s Chinese Theater), only
some of those celebrities can be a little, um,
goofy. |
