Origins: Hollywood Boulevard was carefully designed so that guests who visited the Disney's Hollywood Studios would find themselves immersed in a stylized vision of Hollywood reminiscent of old-fashioned vacation postcards and fan magazines. Much as Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom created a fantasy vision of what the future might be by recreating the way we might imagine it, so to does Hollywood Boulevard evoke memories of a fantasy version of Hollywood that is idealized in our collective memories.
