Tucked away on
a walkway near Test Track is a wet and whimsical
surprise. A multi-colored, spongy area on
the ground shoots up fountains
of water on unsuspecting guests (particularly
welcome on a hot day!). This is a favorite
play area for kids, and you'll often see
a large group of children happily playing
in the fountains.
Not everything
in Future World is what it appears to be.
For instance, you may encounter an unexpected
but funny surprise when you visit one of
the drinking fountains.
Take a stroll
along the walkway that winds its way around
the Odyssey Center. In addition to providing
a short cut to World Showcase, it's a great
place to relax and enjoy the scenery. You
may even get to see a group of flamingos
in the
pond!
Enjoy a snack
in the outside sitting area of the Electric
Umbrella (avoid the breakfast and lunch crowds
to have the area pretty much to yourself).
You can relax and enjoy one of the spectacular
water shows at the World Fellowship Fountain.
