O, Canada!
made its debut along with the nine
original World Showcase pavilions, opening
in 1982
with
the rest of
EPCOT.
In 2007, the original film was replaced with
the current version, an all new film starring
Martin Short. The original film explored
the
vast
wilderness of Canada, giving
guests a spectacular
glimpse of the varied
geography, wildlife and spectacle of one of
the world's most scenic countries.
Highlights of the original O, Canada! include a trip to the Gulf Island at British
Columbia, a toboggan run in Quebec City (the most thrilling part of
the movie),
the changing of the guard at Parliament, a performance of the Fife and Drums
in Ontario, and a visit to the Vancouver harbor. |
