The theater is located
inside the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, an
intricately detailed and beautiful building that’s
worth visiting on its own.
Shows start on the
half hour.
Crowds are rarely
large; you can visit any time you wish. If you
have a while to wait until the next show begins
explore the rest of the pavilion and visit the “Land
of Many Faces” exhibit.
The movie is shown
on a 360º screen that wraps around the entire
room, and you need to stand during the entire
presentation (there are rails to lean on). At
times, the film creates a convincing illusion
of flight. If you get dizzy just close your eyes
or look at the floor and the sensation will soon
pass.
