| The Hall of Prayer
for Good Harvest contains a great many details
of important significance. The 12 outer columns
represent the 12 months of the year
and the 12-year cycle of the Chinese calendar.
4 columns
in the interior signify the four seasons
which in turn support a beam that represents
Earth. On top of this is a final, rounded
beam, which symbolizes Heaven. |

| The weeping mulberry
outside of the pavilion is over
100 years old and was found, not in China,
but in New Jersey. |
