Maelstrom is a short flume ride taking you on a tour of Norway. You’ll journey to the frigid North Sea and the Geiranger fjord, and you might even spot a polar bear or two! Maelstrom takes you on a journey through time, beginning with the Vikings and legendary trolls, and eventually to present day Norway as shown by a massive oil drilling platform under a stormy, nighttime sky.

At the conclusion of the ride you'll glide into a replica of a seaside Norwegian village. From there you'll enter a small building where you can relax and watch a short film showcasing the lifestyles and majesty of Norway and its people.
