| This is a FastPass
attraction, and draws the largest crowds of any
attraction in World Showcase. If wait times are
longer than 20 minutes you’ll want to take
advantage of FastPass, you can tour the nearby
pavilions (including the nearby attractions Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico and The Reflections
of China film) while waiting for your FastPass
time to arrive. |

| At the conclusion
of the ride you’ll exit into a replication
of a Norwegian fishing village. Through the doors
is a theater that shows a 5 minute film about
Norway (you may have to wait for the previous
movie to end before the doors open). If you don’t
want to watch the movie you are free to pass
straight through the theater to the exit (but
be sure to see the movie at least once, Norway
is a beautiful country!). |

| Maelstrom features
two small drops (one backwards), but is fairly
gentle. |

laser-like effects at the beginning of the ride.
