| The British Invasion
performs throughout the day in the courtyard
(except on Sundays). A terrific Beatles tribute
band, they perform some of the most beloved songs
by the Fab Four. They’ll even pose for
photos after the show. |
|
|
|
| You’ll also
be entertained by the World Showcase Players
(a comic improve troupe) who perform near the
front of the pavilion throughout the day. |
|
|
|
| Be sure to take a
stroll through the Butterfly and Knot Herb Garden,
found adjacent to the courtyard. Here you’ll
find one of the more unusual exhibits in Epcot;
a Chrysalis Box featuring a variety of beautiful
butterflies pinned inside the box on display. |
|
|
|
| Look for the KIDCOT
pavilion, where children can color in a special
World Showcase mask and have their passports
or autograph books signed and stamped (passports
can be obtained at most World Showcase gift shops,
Guide to the Magic Autograph Books also contain
special World Showcase sections with lots of
extras). |

|
| The Rose and Crown
is a proper British pub, featuring fabulous views
of World Showcase Lagoon. On the lagoon side,
the pub is a faithful recreation of a waterside
saloon on the Thames River. On the pavilion side
it's reminiscent of a friendly neighborhood tavern
in Soho. The Rose and Crown bears the dignified
Latin moto, "Otium Cum Dignitate" ("Leisure
with Dignity"). |

| Visit the Yorkshire
County Fish and Chips stand to try, well, fish
and chips! (Chips are french fries, by the way!) |

|
| There are lots of
places to shop here! You’ll find all sorts
of items including British candy, toys and games
(your parents may be more interested in the great
selection of teas and perfume). |
|
|
|
| You’ll often
find Winnie-the-Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and the
rest of their friends around to meet and greet
you (they may be inside one of the shops if it’s
a very hot day). |
