Being a mermaid, Ariel is not able to walk around the Magic Kingdom to greet guests as the other Disney characters do. So instead, Areil's Grotto was created so that guests could visit her!

Joined by her friends Sebastian and Flounder, Ariel greets visitors from her throne overlooking a majestic pool. You can meet Ariel and get her autograph! If you're hot (or just in a playful mood), you can also cool off in the nearby water play area.

NOTE: Ariel's Grotto has recently closed in anticipation of the Fantasyland expansion, due to be completed in 2013.
