Origins:

Inspired by the 1953 film classic, Peter Pan, Peter Pan's Flight was another favorite Disneyland attraction that was incorporated into the original plans for the Magic Kingdom. Additions to the Florida version of the attraction included Animatronic figures, Omnimover-style loading ramps, and larger scenes. Additionally, the Magic Kingdom version added the Lost Boys camp and Mermaid Lagoon to the Never Land scene, and the final sequence showing the battle aboard Captain Hook's ship was greatly expanded.
