Snow White's Scary Adventures is an example of the classic Disney Dark Ride genre, in which guests travel through neon colored scenes that seem to glow in the dark. The pioneer of this story-telling technique was Ken Anderson, who created the ultraviolet painting techinque that is used to create the stunning visual effects. Ken Anderson was also the art director of the film 101 Dalmatians.

The mine cars that take you through the attraction are named after each of the Seven Dwarfs.
