Nothing too scary here, but it is a bit spooky! The most frightening section of the ride is probably the attic, which includes a few spooks who pop up with a jarring scream.
Your Doom Buggy moves very slowly.
Spectacular, some of Disney's best! The ballroom is one of the most famous of all Disney effects. The spectacle of a myriad of ghosts cavorting and dancing during an elaborate dinner party is a sight not to be missed! The effects are even more amazing when you consider that they don't make use of any modern day trickery such as lasers and holograms. The sights you see are the results of the tremendous efforts and imagination of Disney's Imagineers.
The ride is nice and slow with no sudden turns or stops.
Crowds can sometimes get large, but lines are just as often light. Wait times are heavily affected by the nearby Hall of Presidents and the Liberty Square Riverboat. Both of those attractions release large crowds into Liberty Square upon their completion, and many of those folks head over to the Haunted Mansion. You can check out Touring Tips for more info and for other ways to avoid the crowds.
Your tour of the Haunted Mansion takes about 12 minutes.

The Haunted Mansion is certainly at the top of must-see attractions at Walt Disney World. This classic features incredible visual effects, creepy chills and even a bit of humor. Don't worry about being frightened (though there are a few scary moments), the Haunted Mansion is a ghoulish delight!
