Be sure to visit the Liberty Tree in the middle of Liberty Square. The tree is a real live 130 year old oak tree originally found in the southern area of the Disney World property. The 13 lanterns hung from its branches represent the 13 original colonies.

There’s also a replica of the Liberty Bell here, specially cast for Disney World. The court of flags surrounding it also pays tribute to the 13 colonies.

For a great photo opportunity, check out the stocks near the Liberty Square Riverboat entrance.
