| Astro Orbiter can be
a bit scary if you're afraid of heights. |
| Astro Orbiter is similar
in speed to Dumbo and the Magic Carpets
of Aladdin. The speed is akin to a
carousel, though the path you circle
is much smaller, increasing the centrifugal
force that you feel. |
| Your rocket ship and
the surrounding kinetic decor evoke
the futuristic worlds of Buck Rogers
and Flash Gordon. Astro Orbiter provides
a great overhead view of Tomorrowland
(provided you can stay focused on the
blurring scenery), and is especially
dazzling at night when the lights go
on. |
| The combination of tight
spinning and soaring heights can make
this attraction very unsettling
for those prone to motion sickness. |
| Astro Orbiter draws
moderate crowds, but be warned that
the load time is very slow for this
attraction, frequently making lines
quite long. |
| Your flight over Tomorrowland
takes about 1 1/2 minutes. |
| |
The Astro Orbiter is a familiar
carnival type ride that appeals to younger kids (who probably
won't mind the spinning as much as some of their sensitive
parents!). |
