Opened:
November 3, 1998
Origins: The popularity of the two Toy Story films led to the creation of this attraction, where guests are recruited as temporary Space Rangers to help Buzz Lightyear defeat the evil Emperor Zurg.
Formerly: This pavilion, like many other areas of Tomorrowland, has seen a lot of different attractions over the years:

If You Had Wings
Opened: June 5, 1972
Closed: June 1, 1987
This was an Omnimover type ride (similar in function to the ships currently in Space Ranger Spin) that took you through a multimedia tour of international flight.

If You Could Fly
Opened: June 6, 1987
Closed: January 3, 1989
An updated version of If You Had Wings, reflecting the latest advances in aeronautical technology.

Delta Dreamflight
Opened: June 26, 1989
Closed: December 31, 1995
The show was changed during this renovation to include more whimsical views of the adventure and romance of air travel. Guests saw a humorous depiction of early barnstormers in a giant pop-up book and got to catch a glimpse of the giant China Clipper M-130 Flying Boat.

Take Flight
Opened: January 1, 1996
Closed: January 5, 1998
Further enhancements to the attraction were added during the major Tomorrowland renovation.
