As a specially recruited Space Ranger, you're on a thrilling adventure to zap Emperor Zurg and his minions. There are a few moments of darkness and an unexpected bright flash as your picture is taken, but overall Buzz Lightyear is pretty tame.
Your ship moves slowly through the attraction, but you do have the ability to spin around to get at some out of the way targets.
Lasers and iridescent scenery make Buzz Lightyear an out of this world experience. The Buzz Lightyear figure that briefs you on your mission is one the best examples of Animatronic technology in all of Disney World. Also, be sure to check out the larger than life toys in the queue area!
You're in total control of the spinning of your ship—just be careful if you have an over zealous Space Ranger at the controls!
Crowds can be moderate to heavy for Buzz Lightyear. Fortunately, the line tends to move fairly quickly since it's a fast loading attraction. The wait time here is usually about half that of nearby Space Mountain. Check out the Touring Tips for some ways to beat the crowds.
Your mission lasts about 4 1/2 minutes. But be warned, this is one attraction that you'll probably want to visit over and over again!

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is cross between a giant arcade game and a classic Disney "dark ride"—and is incredibly fun (no matter what your age)! Many people ride again and again to try and better their score, don't be surprised if you find yourself in line to try again too!
