The working name of
the show was the 'Laugh Floor
Comedy Club'. On March 19, the name
was shortened to 'Laugh Floor' the idea being that
the original name was too long.
The Monsters Inc. Laugh
Floor is not the actual debut of a Monsters Inc.-themed
attraction at Disney. In 2006, the dark ride "Monsters,
Inc. Mike & Sulley
to the Rescue!" opened at Disney's California Adventure.
