| Origins: |
The Tomorrowland Transit
Authority was originally known as the WEDWay PeopleMover
(the PeopleMover in Disneyland was installed in
Disneyland in 1957). The original narration was
provided by longtime Disney voice, Jack Wagner. |
| Updates: |
In June of 1985, the
WEDWay PeopleMover received a minor upgrade, with
the original narration being replaced by the ORAC
One (the commuter computer), who
guided
guests
on their
tour.
In the Spring of 1994, the WEDWay PeopleMover was
updated as part of the major Tomorrowland renovation.
The attraction's name was changed to the Tomorrowland
Transit Authority and
it also received its current narration track. |
