The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a one-of-a-kind resort where guests can enjoy the spectacle of wild animals grazing right outside their window! The Lodge backs up to a large wildlife preserve where you might see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and many other animals wandering right outside of your room.

The animals! Many rooms look over a natural savannah where you can see a wide variety of animals grazing in their natural habitat. Some may even come right up to your balcony!
The savannahs are illuminated with a soft glow at night, mimicking the full moon high in the African sky.
The Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautifully themed. Walking into the lobby is like walking into a whole new world filled with the promise of exotic adventures.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge features a variety of guest rooms, concierge rooms and suites housed in the 6-story thatched roof resort. About 75% of the rooms offer a savannah view, definitely worth the additional cost!

Buses provide transportation to the water parks and Downtown Disney. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is somewhat isolated compared to the other Deluxe Resorts, some folks may opt to rent a car to shuttle back and forth to the various Walt Disney World destinations.
