| The Old Key West Resort is
one of the five Disney Vacation Club resorts
at Walt Disney World. While the resort is
primarily for Disney Vacation Club members,
anyone is welcome—you
don't need to be a Vacation Club member to
stay there (rooms can be rented subject
to availability). Old Key West Resort is
a delightful sun-soaked community inspired
by the magic and ambience
of the
Florida Keys. You'll be surrounded by
soothing pastels and swaying palms throughout
this
Victorian-themed getaway, complete with gingerbread
accents and plenty of tropical charm. |

Old
Key West is a sprawling, out of the way resort
that's perfect for those seeking a quiet
getaway. Palm trees line the quiet streets
that lead to private villas, making for pleasant
evening strolls. |
| • |
Old Key West
features expansive studio rooms and suites.
The suites in particular are quite large—much
larger than the normal guest rooms in the
other Disney resorts and larger than similar
suites in the other Vacation Club resorts.
The suites are tastefully decorated, and
because of the spread out nature of the resort,
you'll truly feel as if you're in a tropical
home away from home. |

Old Key West
is one of the more remotely located of the
Vacation Club resorts, and this combined
with its Florida Keys charm makes it an idyllic
place for couples who want to enjoy a romantic,
peaceful vacation. While the parks are just
a bus ride away, the resort is quiet and
refreshingly tranquil. |

Look for the
mile long path that leads to Downtown Disney.
It makes for a pleasant walk, particularly
in the early evening. |
Studios have two queen size
beds, a large bathroom
and a private patio or balcony.
One Bedroom
units have a large great room with
a queen size sleep sofa, ceiling fan and
a full kitchen. The luxurious master bedroom
has a king bed and a two-section
bathroom featuring a large two-person Jacuzzi.
Both the master bedroom
and the great room have French doors to
the patio or balcony.
Two-Bedroom units
are a one-bedroom unit combined with a studio.
These units are especially suited for couples
traveling
together who want some privacy.
The Three-Bedroom
Grand Villas are exceptionally beautiful
and quite large. The two story
units features a great room with an open,
two-story ceiling (as does the foyer),
dining area, and full size kitchen.
The master bedroom and bath is basically
the same as in the one
bedroom unit (including the Jacuzzi tub!),
and the living room and all bedrooms have
ceiling fans (there's even one on the
private balcony). |
