| The Villas at Wilderness
Lodge are one of the five Disney Vacation
Club resorts
at Walt Disney World. The beautifully themed
villas are part of the Wilderness Lodge
complex, and share all of the same amenities
(pools, restaurants, recreations and so
forth). While the Villas are primarily
for Disney Vacation Club members, anyone
is welcome—you don't need to be a
Vacation Club member to stay there (villas
can be rented subject to availability). The
Villas at Wilderness Lodge recreate the
grandeur and majesty of the rugged mountain
lodges
of the Pacific Northwest. |

The
Villas at Wilderness Lodge are very quiet
and offer a more subdued elegance compared
to the Wilderness Lodge itself. As you
wander through the Villas you'll find lots
of private sitting areas, quiet outside
decks with rocking chairs and lts of rustic
charm. |
| • |
You'll find
a variety of nature trails winding in and
out of the surrounding forest (including
a path leading all the way to the neighboring
Fort Wilderness Campground), perfect for
hiking or biking. |
| • |
The Villas
have their own quiet pool with a gently
bubbling spa in the center. Guests can
also visit the main pool at the Wilderness
Lodge that features a great water slide
and a cascading waterfall. |
| • |
The pathway
leading to the boat dock can be a wonderfully
magical place, particularly early in the
morning with a gentle fog hovering over
Bay Lake. |
The Studio Villas feature
a queen bed, full sleeper
sofa and a private porch or balcony.
One-Bedroom Villas have a master suite
with a king-sized bed and luxurious whirlpool
tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and
a private balcony or patio.
The Two-Bedroom
Villas combine a Studio Villa
with a One-Bedroom Villa, connected
via a communicating door. |
Magic
Kingdom
Launch boats depart from the dock
for the Magic Kingdom throughout the day.
You can also take a launch boat to the
Contemporary Resort, and from there board
the monorail (or walk) to the Magic Kingdom.
Bus transportation is also available to
the Magic Kingdom. |
Epcot
Bus
For the more adventurous, try taking the launch boat to the Contemporary
Resort and boarding the monorail to the Ticket and Transpiration
Center. From there you can take the monorail to Epcot (the trip is
much longer but if you're not in a particular hurry it can be quite
enjoyable, especially if you like riding the monorail). |

Other
Destinations
Buses provide transportation to
the water parks and Downtown Disney. You
can take a launch boat to the Contemporary
Hotel (transferring to the monorail for
the Polynesian and Grand Floridian resorts)
and also to the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. |
