| The Caribbean Beach Resort
is a festive, tropical island paradise consisting
of six villages (Barbados,
Martinique, Aruba, Jamaica, Trinidad North,
and Trinidad South) clustered around the
beautiful Barefoot Bay. Old Port Royale is
the focal point of the resort; here you will
find a food court, a sit-down restaurant,
shops, and a game arcade. |
| • |
The
sheer size of the Caribbean Beach means there's
lots of places to explore. Circling Barefoot
Bay is a 1.4-mile promenade
that's perfect for walking, jogging,
or biking. In the center of
the lake is Parrot
Cay,
a lush tropical oasis that's accessible by
a pair of quaint foot bridges that connect
Parrot Cay and the promenade. |

If you like swimming,
you'll love the Caribbean Beach. You'll find
nine beautifully themed pools to choose from.
The main pool at Old Port Royale is styled
after an old Spanish fort and features a
variety of water cannons,
waterfalls and a terrific water slide. If
you're looking for something a little more
private, you'll find a number of quieter
pools and spas scattered throughout the six
villages. |
| • |
Take a relaxing
evening (or early morning) stroll along the
white sandy beaches surrounding Barefoot
Bay. You can cozy up in a comfortable
lounge chair or stretch out in a gently
swaying hammock. |
| • |
For a bit of
excitement, you can rent a variety of watercraft
and take a spin around Barefoot Bay. You
can choose a watermouse, a sailboat, a paddle
boat, a canoe or even a pontoon boat. |
| Spacious guest rooms are scattered
throughout the 33 buildings that make up
the six villages. The villages of Barbados
and Trinidad South are the most remote in
terms of proximity to Old Port Royale, but
Disney buses are on hand to take you around
the resort if you don't want to walk. |
| Bus transportation
is available to all of the Disney theme
parks, water parks and Downtown Disney.
Buses stop at each of the villages, so
you needn't worry too much about which
village you're in. |
